Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation across various rooms and surfaces. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and client expectations. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to clean floors, carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies while maintaining proper safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with strong janitorial or custodial background. Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other tools. Expertise in floor care techniques such as polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to implement cleaning procedures that meet sanitation standards for health and safety compliance. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Physical stamina for outdoor work experience involving manual labor, heavy lifting, and prolonged standing or walking.
