Mechanic Assistant Job Overview MGK Industries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support experienced mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and automotive systems. Responsibilities Assist lead mechanics with diagnosing and repairing machinery and company vehicles. Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations. Assist with replacing brakes, belts, hoses, and other vehicle components to ensure optimal performance. Clean and lubricate equipment, tools, and machinery. Conduct inspections to identify necessary repairs and preventive maintenance needs. Learn and apply new technologies used in advanced diagnostics and repairs. Provide excellent customer service by listening to customer needs and helping identify appropriate solutions. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workshop. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required . Previous experience as a mechanic assistant or in a similar role preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and vehicles. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Strong problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and grow with the team. Valid driver's license required .
