Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Monitor and observe clients’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly. Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment. Follow home healthcare regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. Employ patient transfer methods safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices when necessary. Skills Proven experience working with elderly or disabled individuals, including assisted living or nursing home settings. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice or end-of-life support. Ability to perform patient observation, assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and manage patient personal care assistance effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family updates, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Physical ability for heavy lifting, patient transfer methods, and providing home health care assistance in a safe manner.
