Manufacturing Associate / General Laborer Lynchburg, VA Pay: $15.50-$16.65/hour (based on shift) Shift Options: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM (+$0.65/hour shift differential) Job Summary We are seeking dependable Manufacturing Associates/General Laborers to join a manufacturing team in Lynchburg, VA. This role involves supporting production operations, maintaining a safe work environment, handling materials, and assisting with equipment and production processes. Candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, lifting up to 70 lbs., and following strict safety procedures. Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Operate production equipment after training Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials and finished products Pack and prepare products for shipment or the next stage of production Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process Maintain accurate production counts and documentation Keep production areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Assist with equipment cleaning, greasing, and basic preventative maintenance Perform general labor duties to support production needs Participate in cross-training across multiple production areas Attend safety meetings and maintain excellent attendance Work in confined spaces when required while following all safety protocols and training Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift Ability to work in varying temperatures and production conditions Strong attention to detail Basic math skills Ability to read and follow written work instructions and SOPs Positive attitude and ability to work effectively on a team Willingness to learn multiple production processes Forklift experience is a plus Experience in chemical manufacturing or light industrial manufacturing is preferred but not required Understanding of Lockout/Tagout and Hazard Communication is a plus Additional Information Drug screen required Background check required In-person interview Overtime may be available Must be authorized to work in the United States Immediate openings available Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
