We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team.In this role, you will drive a safe work environment through regular inspections, hazard identification, training, and incident investigation, while also supporting the Human Resources team with recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day associate needs. Job ResponsibilitiesConduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA and company policiesIdentify potential hazards, perform job hazard analyses, and implement corrective actions or temporary precautionsDeliver new hire safety orientations, safety training sessions, and toolbox talksPartner with the Fleet team to emphasize accident prevention and ongoing driver safety trainingInvestigate accidents, near-misses, and injuries to determine root causes and implement preventive measuresMaintain accurate records of inspections, safety training, and accident reportsDevelop and implement emergency response procedures and drillsAssist with recruiting efforts and support new hire orientation and trainingProvide general HR support to Spanish-speaking associates Job Requirements2-3 years of experience in a safety-related role with HR support responsibilitiesPrior supervisory or leadership experienceThorough understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other local, state, and federal safety regulationsBilingual in SpanishStrong communication, leadership, problem-solving, follow-up, and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office  BenefitsAt Boscov’s, we value our employees, and that’s why we provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.
