Job Requirements • 3–5 years of experience administering self-insured employee benefit plans
• Minimum of 3 years of talent development, training, or employee learning experience
• Knowledge of Affordable Care Act, ERISA, and HIPAA compliance requirements
• Experience administering employee-sponsored health and welfare benefit programs
• Experience with ADP Benefits
• Experience using HRIS platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables
• Experience managing benefit enrollments, eligibility changes, and employee records
• Experience coordinating with benefit vendors and third-party administrators
• Experience maintaining confidential employee and benefits information
• Experience administering learning management systems
Preferred Skills • Experience coordinating annual open enrollment
• Experience supporting performance management programs
• Experience evaluating benefits utilization, costs, and program effectiveness
• Experience developing employee training and development programs
• Experience creating benefits reports, audits, and compliance documentation
• Knowledge of COBRA, Section 125, and related benefits regulations
• Experience resolving eligibility, enrollment, claims, and payroll deduction issues
• Experience supporting self-insured plan renewals and vendor negotiations
Job Responsibilities • Administer self-insured and employee-sponsored benefit programs
• Process benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and qualifying life events
• Serve as the primary resource for employee benefit questions
• Coordinate with benefit vendors, brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators
• Monitor compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and applicable benefits regulations
• Coordinate annual open-enrollment activities
• Prepare enrollment materials, employee communications, and benefit documentation
• Maintain accurate employee benefit records in ADP Benefits and HRIS systems
• Reconcile benefit enrollments, invoices, payroll deductions, and vendor records
• Generate benefits reports and analyze program data using Excel
• Maintain required plan documents, notices, records, and compliance reports
• Support benefit audits and regulatory filings
• Investigate and resolve enrollment, eligibility, coverage, and vendor issues
• Administer the learning management system
• Assign, track, and report employee training activities
• Support performance management and employee development programs
• Coordinate training schedules, course records, and completion reporting
• Evaluate benefit and talent development programs using participation, cost, and performance data
• Recommend process and program improvements based on compliance requirements and workforce needs
• Maintain confidential employee, benefits, performance, and development records
Pay: 60k-70k/year
Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria. Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
