A leading HVACR wholesale distributor in Alburtis, PA is looking for motivated individuals to join their growing team.
Currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to assist with the daily operations of our warehouse. This role involves picking, packing, staging, loading, unloading, and stocking HVACR products with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
This company is NOT on a bus route. Reliable transportation is required!
MUST bring a formal resume to the interview. Safety, punctuality, attendance, solid work history are of the upmost importance!
Schedule:
• Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:30pm. Expected to stay until work is finished, sometimes as late as 6:30pm
Responsibilities:
• Fills store orders by picking orders according to section number, packing items into cartons and stacking them in a manner that minimizes shipping damage, entering items into scan gun, and completing necessary paperwork.
• Documents the shipment of hazardous materials by labeling cartons correctly and completing necessary paperwork.
• Prepares orders for shipment by: preparing trucks for shipments; palletizing and wrapping orders; loading pallets and
pieces into trucks; placing packing list in last skid; and completing necessary paperwork.
• Maintains current department accuracy and efficiency standards, and follows department standard operating
procedures.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work in a safely in all job tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
