Job Title: Truck Driver
Role And Responsibilities
• Deliver products safely and on time across intercity, interstate, and multi-state routes using tractor-trailers or tri-axle trucks.
• Plan routes with maps or GPS, load and unload cargo, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Operate within FMCSA Hours of Service regulations, take rest periods, and report any safety, mechanical, or route issues.
• Manage fueling, truck cleanliness, and equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Use dispatching tools, communicate with dispatchers, and document activities as required.
• Report incidents, hazards, and weather or traffic issues impacting deliveries, following accident procedures if necessary.
Qualifications And Skills
• CDL-A license and high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience or graduation from a certified trucking school.
• Knowledge of FMCSA rules, federal, state, local, and customer regulations.
• Ability to pass drug screening, background check, physical abilities test, and knowledge of electronic logging systems.
• Strong communication skills, good judgment, patience, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated team player committed to safety and productivity.
