D&B Elite Custom is looking for a Residential Estimator to join our team! A Residential Estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimate packages. This person is required to meet with clients to develop a scope of work and assist with the design process. In addition, they estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to be able to compute the overall cost of the project. This position will be based out of our Reading, PA office. Responsibilities: Meet with potential clients to review overall project concept and feasibility Compile and present preliminary ranged budgets Oversee the design process and professionals by managing the deadlines Analyze drawings and perform quality takeoffs Identify gaps in the trade partner base and develop new partnerships Draft and distribute scopes of work to prequalified trade partners Distribute RFP’s and manage RFI’s Compute costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements Thoroughly level and descope subcontractor bids Prepare accurate and detailed estimates in an organized fashion Present final proposal package to clients Prepare documents to turnover information to construction team upon project’s award Input accurate budget information into project management software Perform other duties as assigned and required Competencies: Proficiency with Microsoft office Ability to multi-task, prioritize Requirements: HS diploma or GED 5+ years’ experience in construction estimating Ability to read blueprints Ability to travel to job sites if needed Remodel construction and estimating experience New home construction and estimating experience Preferred: Previous experience in BuilderTrend, Clear Estimates, Procore or similar software Experience designing Kitchen cabinetry Experience with interior design elements Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Voluntary Benefits (Life Insurance, Short-term & Long-term Disability) Health Savings Account (HSA) Retirement Plan Holiday Pay Paid Time Off Annual Bonus Program Employee Referral Program Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Experience: residential construction: 5 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
