Job Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join a well-established outpatient allergy and immunology practice serving the Wyomissing/Reading, PA community. This role focuses on providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
The physician will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team while managing a broad spectrum of allergy and immunology cases. This opportunity offers an established patient base, strong clinical support, and the ability to build long-term patient relationships within a growing specialty practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic disorders
• Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Perform and interpret allergy testing
• Oversee immunotherapy treatment and manage asthma care
• Provide patient education regarding disease management and preventive care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within EMR systems
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered specialty care
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology
• Completion of an accredited Allergy & Immunology Fellowship
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
• Strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative outpatient practice
