About the Opportunity
An established and highly respected industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across multiple manufacturing facilities.
This role serves as a key business partner to executive leadership and site operations teams, helping shape workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent development, and cultural transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact across a large manufacturing workforce while leading HR programs that support business growth, operational excellence, and long-term organizational success.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
• Partner with executive leadership and site management teams to align human resources strategy with business objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, organizational development, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
• Assess current HR processes and develop strategic plans to strengthen organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce optimization.
Employee Relations & Culture
• Lead employee relations activities, investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, attendance management, and policy administration.
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on engagement, accountability, and retention.
• Develop initiatives that strengthen employee satisfaction and improve overall workforce stability.
• Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and employment practices across multiple sites.
Talent Management & HR Operations
• Support both hourly production and maintenance workforces as well as salaried operational and professional employees.
• Coach managers on performance management, employee development, compensation, hiring, and leadership effectiveness.
• Partner closely with talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, and employee engagement teams.
• Mentor and develop HR team members while building leadership capability across the HR function.
Continuous Improvement & Analytics
• Utilize HR metrics, KPIs, and workforce data to drive strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Support organizational change initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Leverage technology and modern HR tools to enhance the employee experience.
Leadership & Administration
• Provide direct leadership for HR operations across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Manage budgets, programs, and resources effectively.
• Drive initiatives focused on employee engagement, retention, performance improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• 3-5+ years of HR leadership experience in an HR Manager, Senior HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar capacity.
• Strong employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning experience.
• Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operations-focused environment experience.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive change in complex organizations.
Preferred
• Master's Degree or MBA.
• Experience supporting large manufacturing sites or multi-site operations.
• Workday or similar HRIS experience.
• Background implementing HR initiatives tied to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
