Nurse Practitioner
About the Opportunity
Insight Global is helping our clients nephrology practice and we are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. This is a newly created position designed to expand the level of care we can provide to our patients. You'll work closely with experienced physicians and clinical staff to support patients dealing with kidney stone disease, electrolyte imbalances, and other kidney-related conditions.
Qualifications
Must Have
• Active Nurse Practitioner License in the state of Georgia
• Experience using Epic EMR
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Comfortable walking a half mile to the on-site clinic and hospital
Nice to Have
• Previous nephrology, internal medicine, family practice, or related clinical experience
• Experience managing patients with kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, or chronic medical conditions
Day to Day
• Evaluate and manage patients with kidney stone disease and electrolyte disorders
• Provide patient education regarding kidney health, treatments, and preventative care
• Conduct patient assessments, follow-ups, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care
• Review diagnostic testing, laboratory results, and imaging studies
• Participate in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital care
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in Epic EMR
• Assist with ongoing management of chronic kidney conditions
• Build strong relationships with patients and their families through excellent communication and bedside manner
