Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description This part-time Administrative Assistant position offers 25–30 hours per week supporting a small local team with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The role focuses on organizing documents, maintaining reports, and assisting with inventory-related activities in a professional yet relaxed office setting. As the position grows, there is a strong opportunity to increase hours and potentially transition into a full-time role.
Responsibilities
• Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic documents in an accurate and timely manner.
• Scan, copy, and distribute documents to support daily office operations.
• Maintain daily reports, ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and properly documented.
• Prepare, update, and distribute weekly reports to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels for feed and fuel, including tracking quantities and communicating needs.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create, update, and manage spreadsheets, reports, and basic documents.
• Support general administrative and clerical tasks as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
• Collaborate with team members in a small office environment, providing reliable and consistent administrative support.
Essential Skills • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including creating and updating spreadsheets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word for basic document creation and formatting.
• Strong general computer skills and comfort working with office software and equipment.
• Ability to perform filing, copying, and scanning tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and reports.
• Ability to work part time, approximately 25–30 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience providing administrative assistance in a small office environment.
• Comfort working with inventory-related tasks, such as tracking feed and fuel levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing and distributing reports.
• Interest in long-term growth, including the potential to move into a full-time role as responsibilities expand.
Work Environment The role is based in a small ranch-style house that has been converted into an office, featuring four offices, a conference room, and a full-size kitchen. The environment is professional yet relaxed, with a close-knit local team and flexible days and hours each week. Business casual dress is expected. The position regularly uses standard office technologies, including computers, Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word), scanners, copiers, and other typical office equipment. The work setting supports collaboration, offers room for growth, and provides the opportunity to eventually step into a full-time administrative role as the office’s needs evolve.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fredericksburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
