Daily Invoice Reconciliation
• Accurately enter and maintain daily invoicing data in FoodPro
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of system data across multiple dining units
• Identify and flag discrepancies or irregularities in system entries
• Verify the accuracy of entered invoice data and make any necessary corrections to ensure invoice amounts reconcile with Auxiliary Accounts Payable reporting
Percentage of time 80 Duties/Responsibilities
Other Systems Related Work As Assigned By Management
• Learn critical components of FoodPro to help maintain the system’s accuracy and integrity
• Participate in special projects when required
• Assist with dining commons menu maintenance or inventory counts when needed

This position supports UGA Dining Services via The FoodPro Office using FoodPro, the department’s primary software tool for dining menu management and financials. The intern will assist in maintaining accurate data integrity, reconciling invoices for Dining Services, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in data management, system-based operations, and financial reconciliation within a large-scale university dining environment.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Interest in data systems, operations, or financial processes
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and operational data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment
