POSITION TITLE: 5th Grade Teacher- Upper Perkiomen 4th & 5th Grade Center
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: ELA Teacher- Grade 5, full time contract, beginning 2026-2027 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must hold PA Certification in Elementary Education (Must include 5th Grade Certification)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Provide instruction to elementary students
• Communicates with parents about student's progress
•
Provides an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals
•
Plans, develops, writes, and implements curriculum and educational programs in accordance with educational/treatment goals and students' abilities.
•
Manages student behavior to encourage best possible student educational experience.
•
Evaluates student's academic growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports.
PREEMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:
• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s)
