We're recruiting for an experienced Automation Technician to join a leading machinery manufacturer based in Reading, PA. This is an excellent opportunity to work on custom automated machinery, supporting projects from design through installation and commissioning across customer sites in the US and internationally. What You'll Do Develop and support PLC and HMI control systems Design electrical control systems for industrial machinery Commission, install and troubleshoot automated equipment Perform testing, simulation and system debugging Create BOMs and electrical design documentation Support projects from concept through customer start-up Travel to customer sites for installations, upgrades and technical support Work with drives, motors, sensors, servo systems and safety devices Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and customers to deliver automation solutions What We're Looking For Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years' experience with industrial control systems Experience with PLC and HMI programming Siemens PLC experience preferred Knowledge of VFDs and servo drives AutoCAD experience is an advantage Able to manage multiple projects and travel up to 50% Benefits Estimated annual earnings of $100,000 - $140,000 Overtime paid after 8 hours each day Weekend overtime paid at 1.5x 401(k) Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance US & International travel opportunities Apply Click Apply or contact: Sam Wild 215-999-6430 Reference: 2620 Commutable from: Reading, Allentown, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, King of Prussia, Pottsville and Pottstown.
