AL01 Job Summary Our facility is looking for a Licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will help patients with breathing and respiratory conditions by operating equipment such as oxygen therapy devices and ventilators. You will also provide emergency respiratory care, assist with CPR when needed, and maintain accurate patient records and treatment information. Responsibilities Duties: Monitor patients' breathing, vital signs, blood gas results, and response to treatment. Inform physicians if a patient has any problems or negative reactions to therapy. Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care. Set up and operate respiratory equipment such as oxygen devices, ventilators, and aerosol therapy machines. Follow the prescribed treatment plan and therapy guidelines. Provide emergency respiratory care and assist with CPR when needed. Inspect, clean, test, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure it works properly and safely. Keep accurate patient records, including treatment details and progress notes. Measure and review blood gas levels, lung function, and other test results to assess patient conditions. Report test and blood analysis results to physicians. Respond to emergency equipment issues and help resolve problems when necessary. Arrange for equipment repairs when needed. Explain treatment procedures to patients and answer their questions. Perform pulmonary function tests to evaluate how well a patient's lungs are working.
