About the Role: Join our dynamic educational team as a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in supporting students’ communication development within the school environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work directly with children across K-5, providing essential speech therapy services that foster their academic success and social integration. You will collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to create tailored intervention plans that make a meaningful difference in students’ lives. What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students’ communication needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions focused on improving articulation, language comprehension, voice, fluency, and social communication skills. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities and support inclusive learning environments. Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with school policies and state regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and advocate for students’ communication needs. Qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with eligibility for school-based practice. Prior experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings is highly preferred. Proven ability to assess speech and language skills effectively through patient evaluation techniques. Familiarity with early intervention strategies and best practices for supporting young children’s developmental milestones. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and healthcare professionals. A passion for fostering inclusive learning environments and enhancing students’ communication abilities through dedicated patient care.
