SUMMARY Responsible for the daily operations of the terminal. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage day-to-day operations of terminal. Ensure customer expectations are exceeded. Achieve terminal’s financial goals. Meet customer frequently to communicate issues with: Delivery Inventory Production Interview and hire terminal personnel. Assist with interviews and hiring drivers, with assistance from Safety and Human Resources departments of Corporate Office Oversee implementation of company safety and damage prevention programs. Manage levels of: Supplies Drivers Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures. Other duties that may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Assistant Manager, Quality and Safety Manager, Driver Liaison, Deckers, Yard employees, drivers QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
