The Cabinet Field Technician will perform various repairs for cabinets under warranty with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of cabinets. Installation will be vital to this position’s success as well as a strong commitment to customer service. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary for this position. During training period hours are Monday through Thursdays 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Once on the road, hours are flexible Monday through Friday based on customer/employee need and availability. Pay is based on experience and/or education. Job Duties: · Travel to various jobsites in the Philly, NJ, NY and DC area. · Touch up blemishes and provide factory finish · Make adjustments to doors and drawer fronts · Light installation cabinet inserts · Ability to spray, hand wipe and glaze various finishes as well as scuff sanding · Strong knowledge of building materials and tools · Possess strong work ethic and the ability to work under time constraints · Ability to follow both written and verbal directions · Ability to analyze and solve problems · Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs. Must be able to travel to various job sites. Job may require climbing stairs while carrying materials multiple floors and distances, must be able to operate complex and basic tools. Exposure to various temperatures of heat/cold and humidity, dust, gas, fumes and chemicals. Must be able to bend, squat, reach, stretch, climb ladders. Prolonged periods of standing and building. Visual and verbal acuity necessary. Job Requirements: Minimum 1 year spray booth experience in a manufacturing setting; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
