Posting Number 2016418T Department Summary This position supports the success of the Athletic Department’s priorities and initiatives by delivering data analysis of college athletics economics and operations through established resources and public datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and benchmarking; collaborates closely with leadership on short -term goals; and assists with the donor cycle of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. 1. Coordination of data projects related to the athletic department’s operations. Develop data-driven recommendations for operational efficiencies. 2. Translate complex data sets into actionable, easily understandable dashboards and presentations for athletic directors, coaches, and staff to support informed decision-making. 3. Analyze competitor data to identify market trends and opportunities for the athletic department. 4. Collaborates with the Athletics Development Team on the execution of the annual campaign to increase giving among assigned donors and foster their progression through the donor cycle of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. 5. Supports the overall success of the department by performing other duties as assigned. Position Profile Plans and manages administrative aspects of Ohio University Athletics operations, including program administration, human resources, financial operations, events, and compliance. Administers and manages Athletics budget and fiscal operations. Responsible for the development of department policies and procedures. Level Summary Manages and resolves complex and ambiguous issues. Works on both strategic and operational challenges, addressing problems that require advanced knowledge and experience. Often takes on leadership roles in projects or initiatives. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides mentorship and guidance to team. Infrequently has a limited number of direct reports. Fiscal Responsibilities May have budgetary responsibility for small-scale projects or initiatives. Problem Solving Solves complex problems, often with limited guidance. Independence of Action Works independently; seeks guidance for unusual situations. Communication and Collaboration Collaborates with team members and external departments. May represent the team in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Physical Requirements This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs. Minimum Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
