A growing human services organization is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Specialist to oversee multiple community-based service locations and lead a team of front-line leaders and support professionals. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, staff development, operational excellence, and positive outcomes for the individuals supported by the organization. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who can effectively balance people management, quality assurance, compliance, scheduling, and day-to-day operational oversight. Primary Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight to multiple service locations and programs. Supervise, mentor, and develop front-line supervisors and team leaders. Ensure services are delivered in a respectful, person-centered, and quality-focused manner. Monitor program operations to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Review reports, records, and documentation for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Support employee hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and professional development. Coordinate staffing resources to ensure appropriate coverage while managing labor costs and operational needs. Participate in audits, inspections, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Respond to operational issues, emergencies, and service concerns as needed. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support service delivery and organizational goals. Assist with budget oversight, resource allocation, and administrative functions. Promote a positive culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and ethical conduct. Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess one of the following: Associate degree and at least four years of relevant human services or healthcare experience; Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant human services or healthcare experience; or Master's degree and at least one year of relevant human services or healthcare experience. Preferred Experience Experience supervising staff in a human services, healthcare, behavioral health, social services, residential, or community-based setting. Experience overseeing multiple programs, teams, departments, or service locations. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, quality assurance, incident review, and documentation standards. Experience managing staffing, scheduling, employee development, and operational performance. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities.
