Travel Nurse - Registered Nurse - ER - Emergency Room
Role: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities: Provide rapid, high-quality emergency care including patient assessment, triage, administering treatments, monitoring vital signs, assisting physicians, documenting care, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and effective outcomes. Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications: Minimum one year ER experience, valid RN license, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications. Preferred additional certifications include TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, SANE.
Skills: Critical thinking, strong communication, interpersonal skills, physical ability to handle equipment and movement, proficiency in documentation, and ability to work under pressure. Must possess visual acuity and be able to handle fast-paced, high-stakes situations.
Key Duties: Assess and triage patients, explain procedures, administer medications, assist during emergencies, monitor patient safety, document care, respond to critical situations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
