Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payroll & Accounts Payable Admin role based in Athens, GA. The Payroll & Accounts Payable Admin will process end-to-end payroll, including reviewing timesheets, ensuring accurate pay calculations, and coordinating with payroll services providers. The role will also manage garnishments, payroll taxes, and compliance with federal and state regulations. On a day-to-day basis, this position will handle accounts payable tasks such as reviewing invoices, coding expenses, preparing payments, and reconciling vendor accounts. The admin will collaborate with operations and management teams to resolve payroll and payment discrepancies, maintain organized financial records, and support month-end reporting.
Qualifications
Paylocity experience and certified payroll
- Knowledge of Prevailing Wage
Proven experience in payroll, accounts payable, or similar administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, data organization, and reporting)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll or accounting software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Experience managing licenses or compliance-related tasks
