POSITION TITLE: DECA Advisor
LOCATION: High School
POSITION GOAL: Provide an organized activity so as to provide participants personal growth opportunity for achievement
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This is a dual role of Educator and Mentor.
They integrate DECA Inc. materials into business curriculum while coaching students for competitive events.
Advisors also manage chapter logistics, fundraising, and travel.
Terms Of Employment
• Per REA Agreement for the 2026-2027 school year- 3 units
• Annual assignment appointed by the Board of School Directors as recommended by Administration.
• According to the School District Policy Manual (available online at www.ojrsd.com).
