Physician, Neonatology
Job Summary
Tower Health Medical Group seeks a Physician, Neonatology to work in West Reading, PA and provide and manage direct patient care for newborn infants that are born with severe illnesses, injuries, or disorders. The Physician, Neonatology will conduct physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for newborn infants. The Physician, Neonatology also will prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate for the assessed medical conditions. Physician, Neonatology will provide clinical education to medical students and residents engaged in relevant rotations and direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff. The Physician, Neonatology may consult with or refer to other medical specialties in difficult cases.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Must have Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited school of medicine or foreign equivalent.
License/certification Requirement
Must have a Pennsylvania medical license.
Residency/Training Requirement
Completion of accredited three-year pediatrics residency program. Completion of neonatal-perinatal fellowship.
Skills Requirement
Board Certified / Board Eligible in neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
