EHS Manager [SM-15014]
A leading heavy industrial manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to support a large-scale production facility. This on-site leadership role will focus on driving a strong safety culture, ensuring environmental compliance and aligning site operations with corporate EHS standards. This person will be tasked with guiding regulatory adherence, influencing leadership, and implementing proactive safety and environmental programs. It’s an excellent opportunity for a seasoned EHS professional to make a measurable impact within a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment.
The Role
• Lead and advance site-wide EHS strategy, culture, and compliance within a large manufacturing operation
• Serve as the technical EHS expert, supporting operations, projects, and regulatory initiatives
• Oversee environmental programs including air, water, waste, and required reporting to ensure full compliance
• Drive incident prevention through audits, root cause investigations, training, and corrective actions
• Manage and develop EHS staff while partnering with leadership to achieve safety and environmental goals
The Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, or related scientific field require; advanced degree a plus
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience within heavy manufacturing, including large workforce environments
• Demonstrated success leading safety culture transformation and regulatory compliance programs
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations (air, water, hazardous materials)
• Effective leader with excellent communication, influencing, and team development skills; certifications (CSP, CIH, etc.) preferred
