Shift Superintendent – Manufacturing
Full-time leadership role in wood products manufacturing responsible for plant performance across safety, production, quality, cost, and team development. Requires strong hands-on leadership in a high-volume production environment.
Role
• Lead daily plant operations across production, maintenance, and quality
• Drive safety, throughput, yield, downtime, and cost performance
• Lead and develop supervisors and frontline teams
• Improve efficiency, OEE, and production flow
• Oversee continuous improvement and process stability
• Partner with maintenance on equipment reliability and uptime
• Manage budgets and support cost control initiatives
Requirements & Details
• 8–15+ years leadership experience in wood products or heavy manufacturing
• Strong hands-on, floor-level leadership style
• Experience leading large production and maintenance teams
• Proven ability to drive KPIs and operational performance
• Lean or continuous improvement experience preferred
