Role Description The Territory Manager for the Tampa/St Pete, FL area is a full-time, responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction within the assigned territory. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing existing accounts, prospecting and developing new business opportunities, and executing territory business plans aligned with company objectives. The role involves conducting regular customer visits, presenting product offerings, monitoring sales performance, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. The Territory Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and effective resolution of customer issues. The position also includes preparing sales reports, analyzing market trends, and participating in promotional events or product trainings as needed.
Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and support informed business decisions.
• Experience with business planning, including territory planning, goal setting, and strategy execution.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting products, negotiating with customers, and collaborating with internal teams.
• Proven customer service abilities with a focus on relationship building, problem-solving, and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
• Knowledge of sales operations, including pipeline management, order processing, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Previous experience in territory management, food distribution, or related sales roles is preferred.
• Ability to work and travel regularly within the Tampa/St Pete, FL territory.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
