Personal Injury Attorney
Position Summary:
The Personal Injury Attorney is responsible for independently managing a defined caseload from intake through resolution, including litigation. This role requires a highly accountable, self-directed attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and takes full ownership of case outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Legal Representation:
Represent clients in personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial
Advocate for clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
Develop and execute case strategies to maximize outcomes
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel using a results-driven, competitive approach
Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania law, court rules, and ethical standards
Client Engagement:
Conduct initial consultations and case evaluations (in-person, virtual, and phone)
Maintain consistent, proactive client communication, setting clear expectations and driving cases toward resolution
Counsel clients on legal strategy, risks, and settlement options
Build trust and rapport through professionalism and responsiveness
Balance empathetic client service with objective, results-oriented decision-making
Case Management:
Take ownership of a caseload, ensuring all cases progress efficiently and deadlines are met without exception
Prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
Continuously evaluate liability, damages, and case value to support strategic decisions
Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and coordinate with support staff to advance cases
Leverage paralegal and support staff to ensure efficient handling of administrative and procedural tasks
Legal Research & Writing:
Prepare demand packages
Prepare and respond to written discovery
Conduct legal research to support litigation strategy
Prepare deposition outlines, mediation statements, and trial materials
Analyze relevant case law, statutes, and regulations
Team & Firm Participation
Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and strategy sessions
Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Own case strategy, progression, and resolution decisions with firm guidelines
Recommend and execute settlement and litigation strategies
Represent the firm in negotiations and court proceedings

Required Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania
Active member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar
Bilingual (Spanish/English) desirable
Experience:
3-5+ years of personal injury litigation experience
Experience with trial, depositions, and negotiations required
Experience with catastrophic injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and/or elder abuse matters preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
