Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Acupuncturist role based in Athens, GA, with an option to buy into the practice or assume ownership in the future. The Acupuncturist will provide direct patient care, including intake assessments, treatment planning, acupuncture treatments, and related integrative therapies as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely patient records, coordinating care with the supervising doctor, and educating patients on treatment plans, lifestyle, and preventive care. The role also involves assisting with practice development activities such as patient follow-up, community outreach, and supporting basic clinic operations to ensure a smooth and professional patient experience. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a small-practice environment while collaborating closely with the existing provider to support long-term practice growth and potential transition.
Qualifications
• Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Acupuncturist (LAc) in the state of Georgia, with completed accredited training in acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
• Proven competence in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of acupuncture and related modalities in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, explain treatment plans clearly, and work effectively with a diverse patient population.
• Ability to maintain detailed, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation using electronic or paper records as required.
• Interest in practice development and business operations, including willingness to learn about scheduling, patient retention, and basic practice management.
• Demonstrated reliability, professional ethics, and commitment to evidence-informed, patient-centered care.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in practice ownership or partnership, including readiness to discuss a structured option-to-buy pathway.
• CPR/First Aid certification and prior experience in an integrative, naturopathic, or multidisciplinary clinic are preferred.
