firstPRO is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing accounting team located in the Birdsboro, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to support a busy accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle accounts payable, three-way matching, invoice processing, and vendor reconciliations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with accounting leadership while gaining exposure to a multi-entity environment. This is a temp to perm position and will report 100% onsite. The permanent salary for this position is between $45K - $55K based on experience. Looking to hire ASAP! AP Clerk Responsibilities: Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Enter accounts payable transactions into the accounting system Monitor and maintain the accounts payable inbox and digital filing systems Research and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies and billing issues Reconcile vendor statements and identify missing invoices or supporting documentation Assist with employee expense report processing and policy compliance reviews Support month-end close activities and other accounting projects as assigned Partner with internal departments to ensure timely invoice approvals and payment processing Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies AP Clerk Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred 2-4 years of accounts payable experience Experience with three-way matching and high-volume invoice processing Experience working in a multi-entity environment preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Great Plains, Business Central, Epicor, or similar platforms Retail, automotive, distribution, or service industry experience is a plus What We're Looking For: A proactive, hands-on professional who enjoys problem-solving Someone who takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through completion A team player who can adapt to changing priorities and support a growing organization An individual who thrives in a fast-paced accounting environment and is eager to contribute This is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing organization with long-term potential.
