Our client, a leader in industrial and technical services, is seeking a Wiring Technician to join their team. As a Wiring Technician, you will be part of the electrical maintenance and repair department supporting operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Wiring Technician
Location: Athens, GA
Pay Range: $35
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
• Inspect and modify low voltage refrigeration units to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Perform electrical wiring tasks with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Utilize your understanding of breakers and electrical systems to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear.
• Collaborate with team members to complete assignments efficiently and accurately.
What's Needed?
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an electrician or in a related electrical role.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check through federal courts.
• Provision of safety equipment including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.
• General understanding of electrical systems, breakers, and wiring procedures.
