Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, located in Athens, GA, for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Day-to-day tasks include administering medications, performing basic nursing procedures, monitoring patient health, assisting with patient hygiene and mobility, and maintaining accurate medical records. Additional responsibilities include responding to patient needs, educating patients and families about health management, and working collaboratively with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Qualifications
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia
• Proficiency in administering medications, taking vital signs, and carrying out basic nursing procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with the care team
• Capable of maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
• Experience in geriatric care or a similar healthcare setting is a plus
• CPR certification and familiarity with infection control procedures
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude, dependability, and a commitment to high-quality patient care
