Senior Recruiter - Human Services & Healthcare Hybrid, Reading, PA
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
Our client, a growing nonprofit human services organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to support hiring initiatives across multiple programs and service lines. This role will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for positions ranging from frontline Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and program staff to management and senior leadership roles.
The ideal candidate has experience recruiting within healthcare, behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD), social services, or nonprofit organizations and understands the unique challenges associated with attracting and retaining mission-driven talent.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of positions, including Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), residential staff, case managers, clinicians, program managers, directors, and leadership roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• Source passive and active candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present top talent to hiring teams.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process and provide market insight on talent availability and compensation trends.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring activity, pipeline health, and time-to-fill goals.
• Support employer branding and workforce development initiatives.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting within healthcare, behavioral health, human services, nonprofit, IDD, residential services, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success recruiting for both high-volume frontline positions and professional-level roles.
• Experience recruiting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), caregivers, behavioral health staff, residential staff, case managers, or similar positions preferred.
• Strong sourcing and talent identification skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
