Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with VTH personnel, clients, the Office of Development, Academic Affairs, and other stakeholders to research and produce high-quality print and digital content on a variety of topics related to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) and College of Veterinary Medicine.

Assist with gathering content, creating, and distributing communications materials, including newsletters and digital slides for internal and external audiences. Support website improvements by identifying missing information; creating and uploading photos and videos; enhancing navigation; and adding relevant links.

Position Summary:
The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) Marketing and Communications Student Assistant supports the hospital’s outreach, marketing, and communications initiatives through content creation, digital media support, and event coordination.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position:
Experience in graphic design, photography/videography, and creating print and digital media for marketing or outreach purposes.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies :
• Excellence in both verbal and written communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
• Basic knowledge of HTML/HTML 5 and WordPress
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of the design process
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
• Detailed oriented
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
