Kitchen - Shift Leader
Position Summary
The Kitchen Shift Lead oversees kitchen staff and operations during their shift, ensuring food quality, safety, and timely preparation. This role supports the Kitchen Manager by coordinating workflow and maintaining kitchen standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Supervise kitchen staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure food preparation and presentation meet quality and safety standards
• Assist with inventory monitoring and ingredient restocking
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
• Help train new staff and provide guidance during shifts
Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
• 1+ years of kitchen or food service experience; leadership preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
