Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy
**Schedule**
- Shift specifics: Weekends every other weekend unless otherwise specified.

**Requirements**
- Minimum 1 year RT experience.
- First-time travelers not accepted.
- Travel experience required.
- Trauma Level I experience preferred.
- Community hospital experience required.
- Required certifications/licenses: BLS, ACLS, PALS, RRT, GA state license. NRP also listed in posting.
- Equipment experience required: Servo I, GE, Hamilton, PB840.
- Core clinical skills:
- Mechanical ventilation management and weaning
- Noninvasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP/HFNC)
- Airway management: intubation assist, ETT/trach care and suctioning
- ABG draws and interpretation
- Aerosolized medication delivery and nebulizer/trach aerosol set-up
- Neonatal respiratory support (NICU experience noted)
- Experience with advanced therapies noted (INO/nitric oxide, ECMO/high-frequency noted).
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Manage ventilator support and provide respiratory care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Deliver aerosol therapies and administer BiPAP/CPAP as needed.
- Participate in airway management procedures and assist in intubations.
- Perform ABG draws and interpret results to guide patient care.
- Provide support and care in various units, including ICU and NICU, adapting to the specific needs of each patient.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Full compliance required to start on time.
- Onboarding: core items/labs to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
- All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start.
- Orientation/modules: non-billable; hours factored into Non-Billable Orientation based on contract length.
