Data Analyst
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support business operations through data-driven insights, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This individual will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role will partner closely with leadership, finance, operations, and business teams to develop reporting solutions, improve data integrity, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports to support business and operational decision-making.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.
• Monitor data quality and implement processes to improve data accuracy and integrity.
• Create visualizations and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending data-driven solutions.
• Assist with data governance, reporting standards, and documentation of reporting processes.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance reporting capabilities and data accessibility.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
• Experience with SQL and database querying.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
• Experience working with ERP, CRM, HRIS, or financial systems.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Experience supporting finance, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing functions.
