Pay Range: $98,365-$117,317. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
Location: Breinigsville, PA

Responsibilities
We are looking for a Transportation Supervisor - Private Fleet (Tanker and Van) at our Allentown facility to be part of our logistics backbone - and a crucial element of our success. Our factories are where our products start their journey to the customer. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
• Ability to drive continuous improvement through others.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity in a positive and constructive manner.
• Manage to the KPI measurements & build capabilities within the team.
• Lead by example in safety and complete save behavior observations.
• Build relationships between company and contract carrier drivers.
• Interview, hire, and retain company driver capacity to meet spring haul needs.
• Develop and build relationships with the Breinigsville factory leadership team.
• Lead develop and participate in QA/Safety training for drivers.
• Work with Production, Planning and Spring teams to ensure all requirements are met.
• Ability to determine cost saving opportunities with- in scope.
• Ensure safe work environment for company drivers, outside vendors, and 3rd party carriers.
• Minimize fleet costs associated with tanker & van business.
• Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at the factory, external partners, and Transport providers.
• Train, direct, and coach company drivers to ensure maximum opportunity for individual contribution and team coordination.
• Establish and ensure effective communication of company and department policies, principles, practices, and procedures.
• Provide ongoing feedback as necessary. Special assignment/projects as assigned.
• Follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions.
• Learn the responsibilities of your peer Transport Supervisor and cover these activities when they are out of the office.
• Work directly with the Silo Office staff, Regional Transportation Manager, Planning Team, Warehouse Leadership and staff, and Factory Production Leadership and staff.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred.
• Must have 3-5 years of leadership experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must have DOT knowledge and experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a very fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a group-based environment.
• Customer focused attitude in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
• Prior transportation, logistics, dispatching and/or planning experience preferred.
• Flexibility in hours worked, including nights, after hours, weekends and holidays.
