We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to support the design and delivery of electrical systems for a wide range of MEP/buildings projects. This role focuses on design production, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination, and technical development of electrical systems, working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD (power, grounding, lighting, fire alarm systems)Prepare single-line diagrams, panel schedules, risers, and detailsDesign LV electrical systems (480V, 208/120V)Coordinate designs with architectural, mechanical, civil, and structural disciplinesParticipate in BIM coordination and clash detectionSupport calculations, specifications, and documentationMentor junior designers and CAD/BIM staffPerform quality reviews for compliance with codes and standardsProvide construction support including RFIs and submittal reviewsMinimum QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field8–15+ years of MEP electrical design experienceAdvanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCADStrong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systemsWorking knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, Life Safety CodePreferred QualificationsExperience with transportation or infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with SKM, ETAP, or BIM toolsExperience with medium-voltage systems (5kV/15kV)Prior mentoring or leadership experienceCompensation Range:$124,726.29 - $142,544.33STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (starting at 16 days) • Paid Holidays (9 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
