Description
This critical to success role at Custom Processing Services (CPS) provides daily engagement and accountability to the manufacturing employee base, creating a profound experience for all employees. This role is a highly independent leader, driving for results, with an expectation of a similarly strong level of accuracy and precision in work completion from self, co-workers, peers, superiors, and subordinates alike. This role at times will wear the hat of coach, mentor, or guide, inspiring others to meet their personnel and professional goals.
Requirements
Accountable Functions and Responsibilities:
People Focused
• Establish, maintain/improve, and measure a culture of safety within the shift. Safety rules need to be non-negotiable and all employees need to leave at the end of the shift in the same or better condition than they arrived.
• Develop a culture on your shift of Respect… for self, peer, CPS, and clients.
• Develop professional relationships with all employees, utilizing EQ techniques to engage and align the aspirations of the individual with the business opportunities.
• Use information learned through employee engagement to own the development of the shift employees under your leadership. Develop plans and “build people”, one at a time and in a personal and profound manner.
• Own employee training for your shift personnel.
• Trust, but verify.
Customer Focused
• Understand customer requirements with regard to all process and specification and assure both are maintained during shift operations.
• Assure both internal and external customers are receiving all deliverables needed and expected, with said deliverables being of highest quality and integrity.
• Provide and execute to commitments for products to be available to the customer (OTA).
• Provide meaningful and formal cause and corrective actions for any incidences where the voice of the customer (VoC) is violated.
• Exhibit a high level of excellence in the custody of customer supplied goods and items.
• Assure Food Safety and Food Defense protocols are maintained throughout the manufacturing arena.
CPS Focused
• Optimize the shift to deliver or exceed the standard revenue expected for said shift.
• Optimize processing systems to provide additional throughput, without a compromise of quality or the VoC.
• Exhibit a high level of excellence in the custody of CPS purchased goods and items.
• Provide required operational reporting, timely and accurately.
• Demonstrate full and proper usage of production information systems including Cost Accounting reporting, HIPPO, Deacom operation, and Paycor operation.
• Assure all activities conform to ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and ISO 17025 certifications as well as other third-party certifications we carry.
• Other work as assigned or deemed necessary for the business.

Required Qualifications
• Post high school degree in Business, an Engineering discipline, or a related field preferred.
• Alternatively, five years of relative experience in Manufacturing Leadership preferred
• Champion and embodiment of CPS Core Values
• Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team, promoting trust and respect.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including proficiency in Office Suite applications.
• Ability to multitask and establish priorities in an environment of competing expectations.
• Willingness to continue education and personal development for the purposes of staying up to date with industry, technology, and regulatory requirements.
• Desire to be a change agent, not getting discouraged, but persevering through times of conflict.
• Flexible and open minded to change while at the same time being able to hold an unwavering position.
• Previous experience in developing personnel.
• Ability to analyze data, look for trends, and draw conclusions for said data

Reading Campus (primary work location) – 99% of time
East Greenville Campus (secondary location) – 1% of time
