Description:
The candidate will work in a hand clinic focused on outpatient care for hand injury patients.
The population served includes adolescents to geriatrics.
Candidates must have experience treating all types of hand injuries and problems.
Knowledge of splinting equipment is essential.
Requires the ability to collaborate with a certified hand therapist and other hand therapists.
Average daily patient census is 9.
Candidates should be comfortable using Epic and Pyxis systems.
Weekends will be scheduled every other weekend unless specified otherwise.
Floating within the facility may be needed as part of the role.
No call requirements will be expected.
If assigned during a major holiday, the candidate will be expected to work that day.
If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the candidate will be expected to work two of those holidays.
The facility supports an interdisciplinary approach and provides interpretation services as needed.
