Description: Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a part-time Grocery Team Member to join the Wyomissing crew! Requirements: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. One weekend shift per week is required. Set Schedule: Sundays 12pm - 6:30pm Mondays 9am - 3:30pm Tuesdays 9am - 3:30pm Fridays 9am - 3:30pm Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 hourly to start, depending on experience Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. **Please note: Kimberton Whole Foods does not hire seasonally** The Grocery Team Member's Primary Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to all Receive and stock all dry goods, cold beverages, household, and bulk items Rotate backstock on a first-in first-out basis Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage Perform KWF inventory management practices Assist the font-end department by scanning customers' groceries, completing transactions, and bagging groceries. Requirements: Physical Capabilities: Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
