Procurement Specialist Location: Reading, PA (Onsite) Pay Rate: $23–$35/hour (Based on Experience) Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm M-F Contract-to-Potential-Perm We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support procurement and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing purchase orders, supplier communications, procurement data, and ensuring the timely flow of materials to support production. Key Responsibilities: Manage requisitions and convert approved requests into purchase orders Expedite orders and coordinate deliveries to support manufacturing operations Resolve invoice, pricing, and receipt discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams Maintain accurate supplier, material, and purchasing data within SAP and other systems Support procurement reporting, cost savings initiatives, and process improvements Ensure compliance with procurement policies, controls, and audit requirements Qualifications: 2+ years of procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or related experience Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred SAP or ERP system experience preferred Understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, logistics, and inventory management Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferred This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to grow with a well-established organization and transition into a long-term role.
