Elbi of America, a tank manufacturer and plumbing materials wholesaler, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for its Pottstown location. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and dependable with 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with a strong work ethic. Supervises in partnership with the warehouse manager in all activities of the facility, overseeing team performance, expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage. What You’ll Be Doing: Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals. Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping. Train and supervise a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Assist in daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics. Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Maintain warehouse team results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
