**Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims for reimbursement. **Duties:** - Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors - Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies - Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe - Monitor and appeal denied claims - Post payments to appropriate accounts in a timely manner - Research and resolve billing discrepancies or issues - Maintain updated knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations - Comfortable using EMR systems **Experience:** - Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG coding, and medical records management - Previous experience (2 years or more) in medical billing, medical collections, or related field -Previous Experience with OpenPM and Praxis EMR is preferred, but not required. - Familiarity with medical office procedures and insurance claim processing - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare provider Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to providing quality healthcare services.
