Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Civil Construction Project Manager, in Sarasota, FL. Construction Project Manager Compensation & Benefits Compensation range for the Project Manager is $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year . Industry leading compensation Company Vehicle and gas card Very healthy bonus plan Excellent Health insurance package 401K Match Construction Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities Monitor productivity and profitability, manage communication between teams, resolve conflicts, and cultivate client & A/E relationships. Support preconstruction efforts. Assist in preparation of budgets and estimates. Provide value design suggestions and work with the project team to implement revisions. Solicit, qualify, review, and evaluate bids from qualified subcontractors to ensure required scopes are included. Prepare and incorporate general conditions work into overall budget. Coordinate permit applications for review/approval and submittal. Coordinate with leader to establish and monitor project goals and prepare project projections. Negotiate, award, and write all subcontracts in collaboration with leader. Complete bid/post-bid subcontractor risk mitigation management. Develop and maintain a detailed schedule including: Key preconstruction activities impacting project teams. Identified critical path. Owner move-in, inspections, and punch list. Prepare comprehensive cost estimates. Review job costs, billings, and pencil draws for pay applications with business unit leader. Review and approve invoices for any goods purchased directly for general conditions work. Manage shop drawing/submittal schedule as well as requests for information (RFI’s) and change order processes. Coordinate and conduct required meetings. Ensure required inspections are performed and enforce quality control procedures and safety inspections. Review closeout documentation, job costs, billings, and pencil draw. Construction Project Manager Qualifications Required 5-10 years previous in civil construction project management with commercial land or site development, underground utilities and mass excavation, roadway, curb and gutter. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering highly preferred.. Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls and construction execution practices is required. Strong working knowledge of programs such as BIM, Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project. Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the company with the Owner. Must have stable work history. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
