Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Pet Care Associate located in Athens, GA. The Pet Care Associate will be responsible for providing attentive care to animals, assisting with feeding, exercise, and general upkeep of the facility. Additional daily tasks include engaging with pet owners to provide excellent customer service, managing reception duties, such as scheduling appointments and handling inquiries, and maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly environment for pets and their families.
Qualifications
• Experience in pet care and knowledge of animal handling
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform receptionist duties such as scheduling and managing client interactions
• Basic understanding of veterinary care and animal health is preferred
• Interest or experience in pet education and behavior management
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team-oriented, on-site environment
• Passion for working with animals and ensuring their safety and happiness
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in pet care are a bonus
