SCYBER is an emerging IT Managed Service Provider, characterized by its agile growth and dedication to assisting businesses within Sarasota County and its vicinity in meeting their technological needs. We are currently seeking a driven and diligent intern, possessing a solid IT background, to train and receive mentorship from our level 2 and 3 engineers, with the ultimate aim of integrating them into our expanding team with a full-time salaried position. Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot various hardware and software issues for clients onsite and remotely Set up new computers, networking equipment, servers, and other hardware at various businesses Manage recurring maintenance tasks and maintain good documentation of client’s IT environment Work with various systems including on-premise / Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Firewalls, PSA/RMM, VoIP, MDM, backup and security solutions Job Requirements Ability to work well with individuals in troubleshooting various technical issues Ability to solve problems quickly by using online resources Must be familiar with end user hardware: desktops, laptops, phones, printers, etc. Ability to work alongside 3rd party software vendors to troubleshoot issues Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues Maintain good documentation Education and Experience Six months prior experience in a level 1+ IT position High school diploma or Equivalent College degree or certificates from an accredited IT program preferred but not required Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Work Location: In person
